The Fine Art discipline at Lincoln has a distinct outlook and approach. Their students study a mix of practice-based and theoretical modules which emphasise the importance of research-led practice, digital documentation and live brief public projects, and can take part in Technique Classes from across the School.

Working within a strong team of academics and professional artists, the School is looking to recruit a full-time Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Fine Art to enhance their Undergraduate and Postgraduate team and contribute to the development of both programmes.

The ideal candidate will have a broad and strong knowledge of the practice and theory of contemporary fine art. They are looking for a colleague who is able to teach Research Methods at Undergraduate and Postgraduate level, as well as be proficient and comfortable in a Studio environment. The area has a growing research profile and they are keen to build upon this by adding complementary expertise in subject areas linked to non-Western art such as China.

Salary £33,199 – £38,460
