Your Listing – Submit Job / Opportunity

Visual Artists Ireland’s online listings is a free service and includes listing information on our website, Facebook, Bluesky and in our eBulletin (11,400 subscribers). So it really is the best way to get information out to artists.

However, we do not automatically list everything. As the representative body for visual artists we review all listings to ensure they offer equitable working conditions for artists and provide sufficient information on the terms and conditions. Each opportunity is assessed for a commitment and evidence that artists are being treated according to best practices. Please ensure that you follow all instructions carefully as failure to do so may cause issues with your listing being published in a timely manner. We recommend that you do not copy/cut & paste listings into the page. If you have no other choice then please ensure that you paste as text so as to avoid HTML conflicts

Please do not input any personally identifying information that you do not want publicly available into the forms. This includes phone numbers, email addresses, and home addresses. Only put in information that you wish to be publicly available.

When will your listing be published?
Listings are not published automatically, they are reviewed by a member of staff before being published. Jobs & Opportunity listings are published on Tuesdays. If you submit your listing by 10am Tuesday, your listing will be included in the Jobs & Opportunity ebulletin on Wednesday morning (listings submitted after 10am Tuesday will be published the following week). Once published on the website, your listing will also be published to Facebook and Bluesky. If you have any listing queries please contact 01 672 9488 or membership@visualartists.ie

eBulletin Banner Adverts
In addition to our free listing service, we have recently created space to place a limited number of featured ads in our eBulletins. We can place a specifically designed banner ad for you in the eBulletin, in both Wednesday Jobs & Opps and Sunday Exhibitions & Events for an additional fee, based on the duration of the advertisement. Adverts must be relevant to our subscribers and may feature visual art opportunities, courses, exhibitions or events. Visual Artists’ News Sheet (VAN) Adverts
The Visual Artists News Sheet is our 40 page tabloid newsprint publication (full colour). It is published six times a year. We print and distribute 5,000 copies of each issue and estimate a readership of at least 10,000 per issue. For more information on advertising in the VAN, rates and print deadlines, click here.

It is entirely your responsibility to ensure that you fully comply with copyright and licensing laws. We recommend that you ensure that you have agreement from all authors before publishing images or texts that are subject to copyright. Any image that you upload will automatically provide us with your agreement to the above, and indemnify VAI from any liability in the case of your infringement.
