Exit 15 is a creative place programme responding to the artistic aspirations of local people in the Ballyogan and surrounding areas. The project began in 2016 when the Arts Office of Dún Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council invited Voluntary Arts Ireland to help them gain a better understanding of the then artistic and cultural life in the Ballyogan area. Since this time an initial research phase of 6 months and a further development phase in tandem with people from the local community; small projects were seeded locally and 3 small commissions where competed. Dr. Victoria Durrer of Queens University Belfast has been engaging with the artists working on these projects as well as local people living and working in the area to capture the learning from individuals’ experiences of Ballyogan, its creative and artistic life and the activities of the project itself.
Dlr are now looking for an experienced community arts liaison person to work on the phase of Exit 15.
This role is vital to the overall sustainability of the Exit 15 programme in 2019 and into 2020.
The fee will be €170 per day inclusive of all expenses.
The maximum number of days available is 80 to cover 2019 and Q1 of 2020.
Time commitment may vary each week due to the nature of the project, some flexibility is required.
