The post holder will coordinate the planning, management and delivery of the programme for families and children at the Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts. The Sainsbury Centre for Visual Arts is an art gallery and museum located on the campus of the University of East Anglia, Norwich, England. With direction from the Head of Learning, the post holder will work to ensure that the needs of diverse communities are met by organising creative activities and providing resources to enhance the learning and engagement experience for families and children.
As part of the Sainsbury Centre learning team you will collaborate closely with colleagues both in the team and across the curatorial, marketing, and visitor services teams. A sense of curiosity, imagination and passion for exploring links between people and things is central to this role.
Applicants must be educated to degree level in arts, humanities, museum studies or have equivalent qualifications or experience, and they should have proven experience of working in a similar role with children and families to support learning and engagement in an arts or museum organisation.
