The V&A Museum are seeking a Project Administrator to provide essential administrative support to both the V&A East Project team. Reporting to the V&A East Project Director, this is a unique opportunity to be involved at the heart of the museum’s project activity, as it embarks on the design and construction of a new museum on the Stratford Waterfront and the relocation of its Blythe House stores. Previous experience within a project environment is essential.
V&A East will be part of the new educational and cultural district being developed at Stratford Waterfront in the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, East London. The seven-storey building will be a brand new space for people to gather, to understand, interrogate and explore the designed world. It will use the V&A’s collections and expertise to provide fast, enlightening responses to current affairs, and will be a place to encounter objects in new ways; to play, make, debate and take part, as well as look, think, relax and be entertained. Closely linked with this project is the planning of relocation of museum’s storage facilities, currently housed in Blythe House, Olympia, as the museum is exploring a range of options for creating a new, accessible collections facility in East London.
Salary: £24,051 – £25,875 per annum
