Art Worlds gives an insider, day-in-the-life view of the current realities of living and working as an artist in different places around the world.
Interested in writing for Artquest about your local art scene? We actively seek short insights into how you work and sustain your practice, specific to your geographic location, the kind of work you make and your situation.
We’re looking for the practical and the philosophical, for artists who can be honest about how their practice works on a day-to-day level, and how their life circumstances have altered their work (or vice versa).
In return, we offer up to £200 per article, display up to 4 images / audio / film of your work, and promote your current projects on our Twitter and Facebook networks and email newsletter.
One artist’s proposal will be selected every other month. To be eligible to apply to write for Art Worlds you must be
- a practising visual artist
- a member of Exchange
Read the submission guidelines and join Exchange to apply.
Exchange is Artquest’s studio exchange and collaboration network for visual artists. Exchange is an online community, built on your real and online social networks, to help you find collaborators, extend your professional network and arrange temporary studios and apartment swaps. The Exchange network is free and open to any visual artist, anywhere in the world, to join.
