The primary focus of the 2020 Sculpture and Digital media bursary awards is for artists, emerging or established, to develop their practice. Having an awareness of Fire Station Artist Studios facilities, resources and artistic programme is helpful to artists making an application. Applicants will find relevant information on facilities on the FSAS website.
FSAS are looking for artists who want to experiment with new materials and / or access the particular facilities of the sculpture workshop. This award offers 3 months full time access in the sculpture workshop, a monthly stipend of €150 will be contributed, support from the Workshop Manager, alongside the curatorial and administrative team.
This award offers scheduled access to FSAS digital media resources. They are looking for artists who want to access these facilities in order to experiment with or develop their practice. This award offers 3 months scheduled access to digital media equipment and edit suites, a monthly stipend of €150, support from our Digital Media Manager alongside our curatorial and administrative team.

– A short artist statement specifying what you wish to gain during your time here
– A short project plan
– A current CV or short bio
– Up to 10 images of recent work / research with captions
– Up to three video links – maximum 3 minutes duration
