imPRESSions Open Printmaking Biennial 2019 will take place during the Galway International Arts Festival 2019. It will be held as Galway Mayo Institute of Technology at the Centre for Creative Arts and Media, Monivea Road.
Artists are invited to submit up to three original prints to be considered for inclusion in the exhibition. The invited adjudicator will select the works for exhibition. The first round of selection is made from digital images of artworks which are to be submitted online through the application page on the imPRESSions website. Please Note: There is a submission fee of €10 per work. There is no artist fee for selected artists. 30% commission is charged on sale of work.
Also Note: The artist is responsible for transport of work. Successful entrants for round one in the selection process will be notified by email and will be invited to bring the actual work to the exhibition venue in early July. Shortlisted works must be framed and delivered to the Centre for Creative Arts and Media, Galway Mayo Institute of technology (GMIT), Cluain Mhuire Campus, Monivea Road. The second round of selection process will be made by the adjudicator from the shortlisted work delivered to the venue and successful/unsuccessful entrants will be notified by email. Artists selected at the second round will have their work included in the exhibition that will run 15th to 23rd July to coincide with Galway International Arts Festival (GIAF) and is included in the GIAF programme.
