The successful applicant will be granted a nine month studio residency in the Annex, NCAD’s postgraduate facility, on James Street, Dublin 8, a 4 min walk from the main campus. It has a manned reception, project room, computer room, printer up to A3, sound room, large unshared studios. Each good sized room has great light, there is a tool room for borrowing tools and kitchen facilities. This building houses our 30 or so MFA and PhD students. The Artist in Residence will have a significant professional art practice, appropriate qualifications and experience and will contribute to the postgraduate life of the college and the MFA Fine Art Programme (any teaching contributions will be paid).
