Kim Gordon in Conversation with Sinéad Gleeson at the Light House Cinema

IMMA is delighted to present renowned artist Kim Gordon in a conversation with Irish writer, editor and freelance broadcaster Sinéad Gleeson. Together they will discuss the making and thinking behind Gordon’s exciting new solo exhibition She bites her tender mind opening at IMMA on Sat 27 July.

Gordon is widely known for embodying a strong feminist, punk-pop engagement with contemporary art, cultural theory and musical subcultures. This talk offers the rare chance to gain insight into Gordon’s ideas and creative processes, as one of the most celebrated cross-disciplinary artists working today. Gordon continues to be a leading artist of her generation since her art school beginnings and co-founding the influential band Sonic Youth in 1981.
