Liminal Spaces – Hands on Glass Workshop, Ballintoy, Northern Ireland

Liminal Spaces is a five-day workshop aimed at artists who want to learn strategies to connect their art to the landscape, combining an exploration of the rugged Irish coastline with access to studio facilities that support a wide range of media (including glass, wood and metal shops).

Learn to use flameworking techniques to explore the unique beauty of the Antrim coast under the guidance of Annie Cattrell and Andrea Spencer. Together, their combined skills offer a breadth of experience in flameworking and sculpture, along with years of teaching experience (including the Royal College of Art, North Lands Creative, Berlin Glas and Pilchuck Glass School). Individual feedback from instructors will be supplemented by group discussions, as well as daily demonstrations in the studios and field trips to the nearby breathtaking North Antrim Coast.
