Webinar: Finances & Tax for self-employed artists with Louise Gorman

Recorded 7 May 2020

Delivered in partnership with Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council

Please note: Louise references the UK/NI tax system but much of the information around self employment will be relevant to artists in ROI.

This webinar considers the elements of tax relevant to self-employment, including use of home costs, travel costs and general expenses. Louise reviews how to manage any capital expenditure on large items of equipment and how to offset potential losses against other income from prior or future years. We also discuss how best to keep records of your income and expenditure.
