Slip casting is a ceramic technique in which any object can be cast hollow in clay. A layer of clay is formed on the inside of a plaster mould; multiple casts can be taken from one mould.
In this two day course I will guide you through the techniques of mould making and slip casting. On the first Saturday you will make a plaster mould(s) and on the second Saturday you will take casts from these using liquid clay (slip).
Bring a few objects to cast from. Lunch will be provided on March 2nd.
