New Team Member: Alf Desire, VAI Services

We are delighted to welcome Alf Desire to the VAI team. Alf joins in the area of VAI services, which has responsibility for the design and delivery of events that support the professional careers of visual artists in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The service offers a wide range of professional development training and events throughout the year including workshops, clinics, peer discussion groups, seminars, talks and our annual national day for the visual arts event ‘Get Together’. 

Alf lives in Belfast. He previously worked for the British Council as Country Director for Ireland. Prior to working for the British Council, he spent a 15+ years in Business Management, Development and Marketing Management in the Education and Cultural sectors with organisations such as Pearson Education, City & Islington College and The Royal Shakespeare Company.
