The deadline is approaching for the Final Round of the Northern Ireland Creative Employment Programme, which gives grants towards internships. The programme will be taking its final applications by 16 June 2017.
NICEP offers £2,500 per internship to help employers create paid positions for young people aged 18-24 in creative organisations which focus on music, dance, drama, literature, visual arts, design, creative media, craft, festivals, arts venues, community arts, galleries, museums or circus and carnival arts.
The intern will need to be:
• Aged 18 – 24
• Work at least 30 hours per week for 6 months/26 weeks
• Paid minimum wage – £7.05
• Have (at the time of applying for the internship) a qualification of level 4 and above
