NI Creative Employment Programme
Employers working in the creative sector will, from today, have the opportunity to apply to a new scheme which offers financial incentives to create specialist apprenticeships and intern opportunities. Set up by the Arts Council and administered by Creative & Cultural Skills, the NI Creative Employment Programme has been designed to cultivate talent and provide fair access to job opportunities in the creative and cultural industries. It will, over the next three years, seek to establish 100 paid internships and apprenticeships for talented young people in areas such as technical theatre, music business, cultural heritage, community arts and live events.
Employer information events will be held in Belfast on 27 May and Derry-Londonderry on 28 May.
