Get Together Recordings
Get Together is Ireland’s National Day for Visual Artists. This annual event is geared towards all visual artists and offers the chance to meet other practicing artists and curators, engage in discussions on what impacts artists and make new connections with people working in galleries and arts organisations all over Ireland.
Organised by Visual Artists Ireland the programme includes Keynote Speeches and Panel Discussions on a rage of topics, Artists Speak with artists speaking about their work, the development of their careers and their own personal experience as professional visual artists, Speed Curating where artists can book meetings with curators to introduce them to their work, Clinics with experts to discuss a wide range of issues on a one-to-one basis. All of this surrounding the Visual Artists Café, where arts organisations and artists support agencies gather to provide information about their services as well as a place to perch and catch up with friends old and new.
Get Together 2020 has been postponed due to Covid-19 and we hope to reschedule the event in Spring 2021. In the mean time you can listen to some recordings of Keynote Speeches and Panel Discussions from previous events below.
