Landscape of Opportunities with Maeve Mulrennan (NI)

This Webinar took place on Thursday 30th of April 2020.

If you are signed up to the VAI eBulletin you will see new opportunities for artists every week.

There are open calls for commissions, exhibitions, residencies and funding. There are also submissions you have to pay for, others that require a detailed application. Most require at least some of your resources and some are considerable undertakings.

There are also opportunities for self-initiated projects around every corner that are waiting for you to make happen, either on your own or with others.

It can be a daunting landscape to navigate and having a plan will help you meet deadlines, submit better proposals and make better decisions.

This one hour introductory webinar gives you practical advice on assessing how different opportunities might be right for you. Maeve gives an insight into the goals and criteria of the different funding opportunities available to artists. She outlines the best approach to take when deciding to apply.
