Deadline for entry: 20 July.
As part of our Summer Festival of the Arts Murze is delving into the vivid emotion of Abstract painting. This is an open call seeking painters using a bold sense of form and colour in their work, creating artwork that does not attempt to represent reality, but creates interpretations through the use of colour, shape and texture. Murze will be celebrating Abstraction throughout the summer within Issue Seven and through a collection of artworks on our digital galleries.
Murze are seeking abstract painters to send in a portfolio of work, up to six images. This is an opportunity for both amateur and professional artists to share their artwork through the platform of murze, all artwork submitted will be featured across their website throughout the summer months, celebrating the medium of painting and specifically the genius and beauty abstraction offers.
Please note: There is no fee paid to selected artists. Non refundable admission fee of £8. Images submitted must be at least 300 DPI. There are no other entry requirements, this competition is open to all.
The portfolios submitted will be reviewed and juried by the Murze team, and three artists will be selected as feature artists as part of our Summer Celebration of the Arts, receiving both exposure on our online platform and a comprehensive spread of both them and their practice in issue seven of Murze, coming out in August. All other work will be featured across our website.
