Open Call | Artist in Residence at the Glass Department of CIT Crawford College of Art and Design, Cork

Artists who work primarily with glass are invited to apply to be Artist-in-Residence in the Glass Department of CIT Crawford College of Art & Design, Cork for a 4 – 8 week duration beginning mid – September 2019. Whether you are an established artist or an emerging artist this is a great opportunity to explore a new direction in your practice or simply a chance to work in a new environment.

The selected artist will have an assigned studio space with access to all the facilities listed below:

  • Flat- bed grinder
  • Table saw
  • Ring saw
  • Press drill
  • Engraving lathe
  • Sandblaster
  • Wet polisher
  • Kilns

Artists are asked to submit:
• proposal outlining their statement of intent
• a short bio (max 200 words)
• an artist statement (max 200 words)
• Up to date CV
