Application deadline: 1 May.
Dublin Maker is made up completely from projects submitted through their open call. This year will be the 9th Dublin Maker and will take place in the beautiful Merrion Square park, on the 20th of July. Dublin Maker relies on the help of many communities and is run by volunteers who work hard so it can remain free and accessible to all.
Dublin Maker gives the opportunity for makers to interact with each other, to share ideas, and to show examples of their work, projects, crafts, inventions, products and hacks in a vibrant fair-style event. We encourage you to join the fun and enter a project to exhibit.
The mission is to entertain, inform and connect the makers of Ireland, while inspiring the next generation of Ireland’s makers and inventors.
Maker booths or exhibits make up the majority the event. They are for individuals, groups, schools and organisations that would like to demonstrate what they make and how it works. Above all, interactive exhibits are encouraged, They want to wow and engage the audience. For Maker groups, please have one point person to coordinate your efforts. There is no fee to exhibit for non-commercial exhibits, and no artist fee paid.
Your project doesn’t need to be finished, and it definitely doesn’t need to be for sale. We want you to share how you make, so in-progress, hobbyist projects are A-OK!
