Open Call | Exhibitions and Workshops at Enniscorthy Arts Trail 2019

The Enniscorthy Arts Trail in conjunction with the Rockin’ Food Festival, are seeking applications from visual artists to participate in the Enniscorthy Arts Trail, Enniscorthy commencing 2019.

This unique and very successful project established in 2018, sees selected vacant buildings in Enniscorthy town transformed and offered to artists as gallery spaces, workshop hubs and cultural centres during the August Bank Holiday weekend alongside the immensely successful Rockin’ Food Festival.

Artists will be given a space to creativity showcase their work, host a workshop or creative event, paired with other artists and working together to bring the highest quality of creative events to Enniscorthy over the course of the August bank holiday weekend.

There are limited opportunities available and all artists will be considered and offered any kind of opportunity to promote their work where possible. Spaces are allocated free of charge and artists are grouped according to their style and desired outcomes.

This opportunity will prioritise the promotion of artists work and offer opportunity to engage with the community and visiting population with the display of the artist’s works with opportunity for creative engagement such as talks and workshops.

Please note: There is no artist fee for exhibitions. Artists fees for delivery of workshops are to be decided based on expressions of interest and may be covered under participation fees paid directly to the artist. There is no budget available to artists but general workshop materials will be provided should there be the opportunity to facilitate. Artists must be available at times during Thursday 30 th July – Monday 5 th August. Artists must be available to install and collect their own work within the specified times and dates. There are no commission on work sold or charges due for taking part in this project.
