Open Call for Emerging Artists | Fresh, Rural Arts Gallery, North Yorkshire

Rural Arts Gallery are looking for emerging artists to feature in ‘Fresh’, an exhibition of cross disciplinary artworks to be showcased in our unique and contemporary art space, Rural Arts, The Courthouse Gallery, Thirsk.
Artists are invited to submit work from a wide range of media to include painting, drawing, photography, printmaking, textiles, ceramics, glass, sculpture and installation. The exhibition space is flexible enough to show film and projections as well as more conventional work.
Rural Arts Gallery are also seeking artists who are interested in leading talks, workshops during the exhibition to present their ideas and experience as part of their submission.
All artworks will be for sale, there is no artist fee for exhibiting, a commission of 25% will be taken for works sold.
Prize winner will recieve a ‘solo exhibition’ at Rural Arts.
To submit works please send 6 (high quality jpg’s) image’s – including, title, medium, size and price together with artist, working image and statement (50-100 words)
Successful artists will be notified by: Tuesday 11 April
Works to be delivered to the gallery: Thursday 20 April between 9am – 5pm
