Open Call | Lame Journal, Volume Two (Bradford, UK)
Deadline: 29 December
Lame are looking for an artist, designer or maker to feature in their second volume of Lame Journal. The successful submission will be given a 2-4 page spread, as well as the opportunity to exhibit their work at our journal launch event in January.
Lame is a creative studio based in Saltaire. They have recently launched our first publication; Lame Journal.
Predominantly visual content, the features focus on places, processes and people. Our first volume, released in October, featured Yorkshire, Katrina Cowling (a Leeds based artist) and Ceramics. As well as Stories (a local independant coffee shop), PISIN (collaborative painters), George Chinnery (artist), and our first successful submission Harrison France (photographer). They launched the journal with a brunch at serf, Leeds. It was an opportunity to bring the content of the journal all together in one space.
Volume Two will be released mid January, with the closing date for submissions 29/12/16. The main features are Paris, Manic Chord (Leeds based theatre company) and Lights.
Lame are open to all creative submissions. So, whether your’e an independant artist, food enthusiast, carpenter or none of the above, they would love to see what you do.
