The Cabin at Road Books offers a 2 week residency sponsored by Cork County Council.
The Cabin at Road Books is asking for submissions for a residency in rural Inniscarra, to be completed before the end of October, 2019. The focus of this residency is environmental/ecological, and is open to visual artists and writers.
Accommodation is a purpose-built timber-frame cabin set between garden and woodland, with kitchen, bathroom, bedroom and large studio space. They encourage residents to engage with the land, which consists of meadow, new and older woodland, as well as vegetable and fruit garden.
The residency covers accommodation; you provide your own food and transport.
Proposals, by email, should be approx 250 words, and should include a link to your website (or email examples of work) and the dates you’d like to come, which Road Books will try to facilitate.
