Application Deadline: 1 October, 6pm.

Ciara Scanlan and Matthew Nevin, Directors of CIACLA and MART Gallery Dublin are delighted to announce an open call for the pilot programme of Contemporary Irish Arts Center Los Angeles – during the summer of 2019 and 2020.

They are casting the net wide and would like to hear from artists, musicians, performers, writers, agents, bookers, gallerists and everyone working in Contemporary Irish Arts – Film, Theatre, Music, Performance, Literature, Comedy, Visual Arts.

CIACLA shall promote Contemporary Irish Culture in Los Angeles through a multidisciplinary programme, coinciding with local and international cultural partnerships.

CIACLA aims to develop a creative platform to support and challenge Irish artists, working across disciplines, as a means of promoting Irish culture in Los Angeles.

They will have exclusive use of a venue – most likely a 1000 – 2000 sq foot space in Los Angeles. The organisers will most likely have a budget to ship your work [and performers] – within reason. They are sourcing sponsorship to cover fees etc.

Right now they are looking to receive proposals of existing work that has already been exhibited, performed, created.
