The South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust is seeking to purchase up to 60 unframed 2dimensional artworks in any medium (valued between £100 and £1,000) to enhance the patient environment at the Acute Services Block, Ulster Hospital currently under construction.
Successful artist’s work will reflect the themes of Nature and Movement and will contribute to a soothing and inspiring atmosphere for patients, staff and visitors. Submissions from artists based in County Down and Antrim would be particularly welcome.
There will be a 2 stage selection process:
Initial expressions of interest with up to 10 high quality images of current work will be sifted for:
• relevance to the theme,
• and compatibility with commissioned artworks and décor
to create a folio of options.
A selection panel including patient and hospital staff representatives, will choose pieces from this folio for specific wards and departments.
