The Arts Office/Creative Ireland Kerry is seeking experienced project managers in the arts, design or heritage sector, festival organisers, groups, social enterprises, creative practitioners, artists, or organisations, to lead projects which highlight the essential role of creativity within a social setting. Professional artists who engage with communities, and curators with a proven track record in delivering quality creative engagement for citizens are welcome to provide quotations. The application must be professionally led but can be partnered by a community group. Applicants do not have to be based in Kerry but must demonstrate a knowledge of the county and the community they wish to work with.

A total of four creative projects are being sought with a budget each to a maximum of €9,000 per Municipal District. Applicants must choose the District they wish to work in. Applicants may apply for a maximum of two Districts only. Awards will be made per project, per district.

There are four districts in Kerry:
(Lot 1) Tralee: Street Spectacle Quotations only welcome from professional creatives willing to work with parade and float providers and communities in Tralee to assist in the development of skills and capacity at local level that will lead to an improvement in parade performance in 2020.
(Lot 2) Listowel: Cultural heritage submissions only that relate to the ‘The Lost Palace of Lixnaw’, and the 18th century legacy of the Old Court, Manor and Demesne. Projects ideas are welcome from professionals open to working with schools and communities in Kerry.
(Lot 3) Killarney: All themes welcome
(Lot 4) South & West Kerry: All themes welcome

Please state the Lot number that your quotation refers to. The opportunity is funded by Kerry County Council and Creative Ireland.

Projects may commence May 2019 and be completed by mid-November 2019.
