The Origin Gallery of Fine Art seeks bright, confident arts graduates or emerging artists for its Autumn / Winter 2016 volunteer programme where successful candidates will learn about the running of a Fine Art Gallery. Volunteers will be working alongside the galleries well known Director and will gain practical experience in arts administration, arts business development, design, sales, communications, organisational systems, event planning, cataloguing and fundraising.
Desirable skills: Good computer skills and graphic design talent as well as an interest in contemporary art, it’s practice and marketing. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Mailchimp a distinct advantage.

Please note: We ask for a minimum commitment of 3 months for the days arranged at interview, per week. This will also allow the volunteer to become fully immersed in one complete fundraising cycle for a well known Arts Organisation, and in the set up, promotion, duration and take down of exhibitions of fine art.
