PrintLab | Alphabet Poster Making with P22 Blox at the National Print Museum

P22 Blox are modular typographic blocks which can be assembled in a number of different ways to create letters and patterns. In this afternoon workshop, a small group with work together to assemble the blox into their own alphabet and print it as a poster in a small edition.

P22 Blox is a set of modular letterpress printing blocks made from plastic. It allows for a wide variety of lettering, experimental letterforms and pattern making, giving printers an entirely new medium to inspire modern presswork. The Blox are injection moulded using Thermo Plastic Elastomer (TPE). It’s a fun, creative, hands-on experience which produces eye-catching, vibrant results.
