This course is a great opportunity to explore a variety of printmaking techniques in the relaxing, non-toxic environment of the Burren College of Art’s bright new Print Studio.
During the week, participants will build a skill-set of techniques that can be used singularly or in combination in the application of line (drypoint), tone, color (mono printing) and texture (collagraph) in their prints. This platform will act as a catalyst to develop new approaches and ideas to realize a body of work in one (or more) formats e.g. a series of mono-types, an artist’s book or an edition of prints.
All levels are welcome as the course will be personalized at the level of participants.
