Professional Development Opportunities for Adults at Baboró Festival

Baboró International Arts Festival for Children, takes place in venues throughout Galway. Alongside festival shows there also an extensive series of talks and workshops for adults including a panel discussion with one of Ireland’s most lauded artists, PJ Lynch, the current Laureate na nÓg.

Artists Deirdre Rogers and Órla Kelly will guide you through some creative ideas in Baboró’s Creative Lab. There’s also a session exploring the use of the creative arts to support early years learning.

A Robotics workshop for Primary and Secondary School teachers aims to help to develop creative young minds.

For mothers working in theatre, the MAM Gathering (Mother Artists Makers) invites you to find out more about this national network founded as a result of the #WakingtheFeminists campaign.

There’s also a CPD taster evening where you can find out what to expect from Baboró’s ‘Drama Tools in the Classroom’ in Summer 2017.
