Púca Festival 2019 Creative Development Workshops, Drogheda
PÚCA FESTIVAL 2019 CREATIVE DEVELOPMENT WORKSHOPS
Hosted by: Fáilte Ireland and Curated Place
Fáilte Ireland, Meath County Council and Louth County Council, together with Curated Place would like to invite local stakeholders from Arts & Culture and Education & Community Arts organisations to attend consultation workshops to learn more about Púca Festival, and also help us shape the wider programme.
Púca Festival will create a new destination cultural tourism spectacular of food, folklore, and fun centred on Trim and Drogheda but embracing the opportunities across Co. Louth and Co. Meath. Developing year on year it will attract international visitors to the area by introducing new sites acts and experiences over time.
Education and Community Group Workshops –
During the festival we’ll be running a series of workshops to develop:
* Masks
* Costumes
* Designs for Fire Drawings
* Procession Choreography
* Artist Workshops
Join us to learn about how you can meet our artists to share their skills and to let us know your plans over the Halloween period. Over time we want to build a visiting artist programme that gives local people a chance to develop festival and creative skills – help us understand how to work with you.
Artist/Performers Workshops –
We want to give Irish and Ireland based artists the opportunity to showcase their work and develop new skills by learning from our more established festival artists and performers. Come and share your ideas to see how they can be developed for the festival in 2019 and beyond.
Please come along to learn more about the festival and help us understand and plan how you can be involved.
