I spend my time between painting, travelling (my wife is currently in Amman, Jordan with M.S.F.), minding a large self-catering retreat facility and my family (which includes great-grandchildren) who live nearby.
In my studio I like burying myself in large 5 ft. square canvases, using encaustic, to combine organic effects in nature with coastal images.
My art website currently under development, is a collaboration with my son Martin Travers (www.martintravers.com), a Muralist
As an artist, what are the key challenges that you face on a daily basis?
Light was an issue until I built a painting room onto my studio in 2017
What inspires you most about Kerry?
I am inspired by the coastline of the Dingle Peninsula, Dingle Bay and the Blasket Islands
