Join Sean Kissane (Curator, Exhibitions, IMMA) for an opening introduction of ROSC 50 -1967 / 2017, a research project presented in IMMA’s Project Spaces from 05 May – 18 June 2017. ROSC 50 – 1967 / 2017 coincides the 50th anniversary of the first ROSC, a series of major exhibitions of international art in Ireland between 1967 and 1988. Presented in partnership with NIVAL, IMMA displays a curated selection of archive material, screenings and research that draws on previous ROSC exhibitions, revisiting its major influence on key developments in the visual arts in Ireland.

Continuing throughout 2017, an expanded programme of talks, artists’ commissions and symposium will further asses the legacy of the ROSC exhibitions on Irish art history. Presented at IMMA, in partnership with NIVAL.
