Clinic: Writing about your work with Joanne Laws
As an artist, you are required to write about your work for press releases, marketing purposes and for proposals or applications. Conveying concise information in a well-written artist’s statement, biography and CV will assist people in gaining an understanding of your practice.
This is a twenty minute one-to-one session. Joanne will offer strategic advice on preparing artists’ statements and CVs. She will assist you to develop appropriate and clear language to describe your work in a way that makes it engaging, personal and accessible to most readers.
Feel free to send on some information in advance to us to make the most of your session, such as your artist statement, bio or CV, images of your work, links to website, or any text you are currently working on that you would like a second opinion on.
