Sinead Moriarty, Mark O’Kelly and Fearghus Ó Conchúir appointed to the Arts Council
The Minister for Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht, Josepha Madigan, T.D. has announced the appointment to the Arts Council of:-
· Sinead Moriarty for the remaining 6 month term of an existing vacancy and reappointment to full term in January 2019.
· Mark O’Kelly for the remaining 6 month term of an existing vacancy and reappointment to full term in January 2019.
· Fearghus Ó Conchúir for the remaining 3.5 year term of an existing vacancy to January 2021.
The appointments follow a public call for applications on www.Stateboards.ie and an assessment process.
Commenting on the appointments, Minister Madigan said:
“I am delighted to appoint 3 candidates of such high caliber and congratulate them on their appointments. I wish all 3 appointees the very best during their terms and thank them for taking on these very important roles”.
