Studio Memberships Available at Graphic Studio Dublin

Graphic Studio Dublin is Ireland’s largest and oldest Printmaking Studio, established in 1960, providing studio facilities and support to over 70 full-time members as well as visiting Irish and international artists in a former Brewery building on the North Circular Road.

As a member, you can use our facilities for many types of printmaking including etching, carborundum, lithography, mezzotint, wood and lino-block, screenprint, letterpress, bookbinding and photo-etching.

Full membership allows 24/7 access to the studio, a reduction on courses and an opportunity to exhibit in Graphic Studio Gallery in Temple Bar. Graduate rates and Open access opportunities are also offered. See website for membership rates.

To apply: Applications to be delivered to GSD, Distillery Court, 537 North Circular Road, D01 HD39:

– a cover letter stating why you wish to join Graphic Studio Dublin
– an current CV (including all relevant professional experience in chronological order. This can include experience related to your wider artistic practice, and not just printmaking experience.)
– an artist’s statement
– a portfolio of work (max A1) with a minimum of 8 and maximum of 12 of your best pieces of original print work. You can include photographs of installation pieces/print work which is larger than A1 in size, all other work should be original.
– All work should be clearly labelled and any extra information regarding the prints is encouraged.
