Call for Proposals
Artspace is a dedicated studio space for artists situated in Oxford Island National Nature Reserve on the southern shores of Lough Neagh. It stands on a site of outstanding natural beauty, surrounded by designated areas of special scientific interest. The area is steeped in local legend and the Oxford Island site itself attracts more than 300,000 visitors each year.
We are offering two residencies:
Summer Residency: June – August 2017
The Summer Residency at Artspace provides an arts organisation or group of artists with a 3-month-long opportunity to work on a project of their choice with community groups and visitors to Oxford Island. It is also an opportunity to exhibit and present a talk to the public immediately following the residency. A materials/production budget of £1000 and transport costs for groups will be provided.
We are inviting proposals from arts organisations/groups of artists with a proven track record in delivering participative arts projects.
