Solstice Arts Centre would like to invite artists living in or from County Meath to submit works of all disciplines for inclusion in our sixth SURVEYOR open exhibition. SURVEYOR serves to support value and encourage artists in the development of their practice and creative career. This exhibition presents a selection of current contemporary visual arts practice throughout the county.
This year will see the continuation of the ‘Solstice Visual Arts Award’ which has a value of €1500. This will be awarded to a work of distinction in any medium.
Entry fee is €10 (per artist). There is a limit of 3 submissions per artist.
All application forms must be completed and returned to Solstice. Address soft copies to carol.oconnor@solsticeartscentre.ie clearly titled “SURVEYOR Application 2017”. Alternatively, hard copies can be addressed to: Surveyor, Carol O’ Connor, Solstice Arts Centre, Railway Street, Navan, Co. Meath, Ireland.
Work will be selected by an independent curator. This year’s curator is Artist Dr. Brian Fay, DIT.
Opening of Exhibition will be on Saturday 1st July at 2.30pm.
The drop off date for work is 11am- 4pm Saturday 24th June.
