Wednesday 31 May, 6.30pm to 7.30pm
Coinciding with the 50th Anniversary of ROSC, IMMA invites artists to come together in conversation to reflect on the direct experiences of a particular generation of artists associated with the ROSC exhibitions. To assess the impact of this major cultural art event on Irish art and artists, this discussion offers the chance to hear directly from artists whose work was represented in one of the ROSC exhibitions from 1967 – 1988. Artists speaking include: Katy Prendergast, Nigel Rolfe, Robert Ballagh, and Eilis O Connell. Chaired by Christina Kennedy, Head of Collections, IMMA.
Prior to this discussion, you can visit IMMA/NIVAL ROSC 50 – 1967 / 2017, presented in the IMMA Project Spaces – remains open until 6.30pm.
