Course will explore and talk about a range of media from found object printmaking, collage, presentation of found objects themselves as ‘art’, drawing, and mixed media. There will be a range of media demonstrations to aid in your investigations. The values from the course are an improved knowledge of how to look and the development of awareness as regards visual consistency.

The tutor suggests that you choose a particular area or aspect from the local surroundings. You have; landscape, urban settings, farms, harbors, and so on. The goal will be to choose an area of interest and to develop, a graphic essay, a short image based book or booklet, a series of images, an installation or some visual presentation not mentioned but appropriate to your conception.
