A Monoprint is a unique, ‘one-off’ print. Participants on this workshop will explore a variety of techniques to achieve a series of painterly prints by inking up on glass slabs and printing by hand with water based inks (Maximum size: A4). Registration allows a build-up of colour and added textures can be achieved with found objects; feathers, leaves, fabric etc. Suitable for beginners and those with some previous experience. All materials are provided, however participants can bring additional textured papers, fabrics etc. if they wish. Participants are asked to bring visual ideas in the form of drawings, photographs etc.
