Visions School of Art – a bijou art school on Rutland Street in south Cork City – are currently looking to rent their studio-classroom in the afternoons, from 1.30pm to 5pm, for educational purposes. Any teaching in any creative disciplines will be considered. The rate per individual day would be 45 euros, but Visions would prefer to rent per week to a single applicant or failing that, to two, and a lower rate for 5 or 6 days will thus be offered first, depending on the situation of the applicant. Visions would also like to find a circumstance where the applicant would have optimal compatibility with the operations of the school, so that general classroom layout and its contents would suit both parties.
The dimensions of the classroom are 10 x 5 m approx, and we have two table-islands of 2 x 3 m and one of 3 x 4 m approx. There are 21 chairs available in the space. We have a tea station with two kettles, and book shelves or storage can be arranged.
The classroom is fully lit with 9 strip lights, and 3 South-facing windows (these are deep, as the building used to be a Granary building, and so the light from them is good, but not excellent).
Please note that the classroom is not wheelchair accessible, as it is on the 2nd floor, and there is no lift in the building (these are circumstances beyond our control, as we are only one of a number of organisations renting in the building).
