The Fire Station Station Summer School with Morgan Quaintance

The Fire Station Artists’ Studios is delighted to offer a unique Summer School with UK curator Morgan Quaintance and guest speakers The White Pube (Gabrielle de la Puente and Zarina Muhammad).

In addition to the traditional duties associated with making and curating art, what other tools can be used to fulfill the increasingly essential function of presenting, interpreting, and disseminating contemporary art and ideas for a given public?

With an emphasis on the transference of practical skills and theoretical knowledge, this summer school is aimed at curators, artists and other cultural producers. It will consider the possibilities offered by filmmaking, broadcasting and criticism and encourage further exploration beyond the course.

Apply with a short bio, artist/curator statement and 4/5 photos until June 25th at 9am to:

Dates: 10-13 July 2018
Times: 10am-5pm
Fee: €200
Location: Fire Station Artists’ Studios, 9-12 Buckingham St, Dublin 1
