VAI Lifelong Learning | Next Week’s Events

In this week’s VAI Lifelong Learning offer, we look at the challenges of and how to wade through the difficult task of exploring budgets as a visual artist.

Webinar & Clinics: Exploring Budgets with Visual Artists (24 Feb)

Annette Maloney helps us explore the sometimes tricky topic of budgeting for Visual Artists. Her session will provide outline information on figuring out budgets for applications for funding and supports, including as examples for funded projects, grant applications, bursaries and residencies etc. The session will examine a number of budget headings, which can be used to work out project costs, including as examples Artists Fees, hourly rates, travel and subsistence, overheads and admin costs, contingency, etc. (Free for County Kilkenny based visual artists).
