VAI Workshop | Filing Your Taxes Online – Revenue Online Services with Gaby Smyth, 27 September

Designed specifically to be relevant to the financial realities faced by self employed artists this session aims to demystify the process of filing your taxes on line with Revenue Online Services (ROS). The session offers a step by step demonstration of the ROS interface showing where and what information to enter when filing your tax self assessment online. The session will look how you enter and treat income from different sources i.e. PAYE, Self-Employed income, Artist’s Tax Exempt Income. It will also discuss capital purchase and allowances and where to include extracts from your accounts for (expenses /overheads) and other issues in response to participants questions.

For the purposes of facilitating this number of participants the ROS interface will be entered through a demonstration ROS account (projected in the room) rather than through your own ROS Account. We can provide relevant screen shots during/following the session.
