Visual Artists Ireland Scheduled Website Maintenance

We’re excited to announce that a new version of the Visual Artists Ireland website is on the way! This upgrade will bring faster performance, better security and improved functionality.

To make this transition, our current website will be temporarily unavailable for 2 days on Wednesday 6th August & Thursday 7th August 2025. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your patience.

What does this mean?

• Membership: 
  The ability to join as a member online will not be available for these two days, but you can still call us at +353 (0)1 672 9488 Ext. 2 and join over the phone. For current members you will not be able to log in to the Members Area on the website on 6th or 7th August.
• Listings & eBulletin: 
  The Jobs & Opportunities eBulletin…. All listing submissions before 10am on Tuesday 5th August will be published on the VAI website, shared on social media and included in an eBulletin on Tuesday 5th August. Jobs & Opportunity listings can then be submitted again once the new website is live for inclusion the following week.
  The What’s On – Exhibitions & Events eBulletin will go out as usual on Sunday 10th August. Listings cannot be submitted on 6th or 7th August, but listings submitted before and after these days will be included in the relevant eBulletin.
• VAI Events: 
  There are no VAI events scheduled for these dates. Helpdesks scheduled for these dates will go ahead as normal.
