Professional Members of Visual Artists Ireland who are resident in the UK benefit from free Public & Products Liability Insurance. (Please note: applies to Professional Memberships only)

Insurance Information

Public liability insurance for eligible members of Visual Artists Ireland is arranged by Howden Insurance Brokers Limited trading as Hencilla Canworth, a specialist insurance intermediary for the creative sector. The policy provides £10,000,000 of Public liability insurance for its qualifying members.

The policy is underwritten by JRP Underwriting Ltd and is for members of Visual Artists Ireland as a benefit of membership for qualifying members, subject to the terms, conditions and exclusions of the policy.

Qualifying members are

Members who reside in the UK and who have paid the appropriate subscription

provided that they remain eligible for cover under this policy under the terms of their membership and their membership period commences during the period of insurance and is for a maximum duration of 12 months.
