Learn to create fresh, sensitive alla prima portraits from live models. Using strong drawing, simplification, form analysis, and rational colour mixing, you’ll paint four portrait sketches of four different models with an 8-colour palette. Daily demos and personalised critiques guide you from likeness to finishing details. Cranial anatomy, materials, and the physics of light are discussed. All levels welcome.
